Tusker Octoberfest

  Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL)  released the dates for Tusker Oktobafest 2022 which was set to take place throughout the month of October at various locations around the country. The annual Tusker event has seen over 100 acts perform throughout the month-long event across the country. The three major events were scheduled to take place in Tamasha, Eldoret (October 8th – 9th), Jamii Executive Gardens, Mwea (October 15th– 16th), and finale event at the Ngong Racecourse, Nairobi (October 28th – 30th). The events had unique beer experiences that saw the full KBL beer portfolio on full display. There was also live entertainment stages, gaming centres, and sports contests. Among the artists that have and are set to perform include; Khaligraph Jones, Mejja, Nadia Mukami, Nyashinski among many others. Nameless and Wahu Respond to Pressure from Fans to Get a Son

The Mathenge's  Musician Nameless had been receiving pressure online to get a baby boy something that didn't bother him much even when his wife Wahu welcomed a third baby girl two weeks ago. In a recent post on Facebook, the mother of three responded to a fan who asked her if she had a dream of ever getting a baby. The fan who identified as Cecy Mas said; "Congratulations. But do you still have a dream of getting a baby boy?" Wahu said she is happy and content with her girls. Last week, Nameless addressed another fan who told him to get a baby boy so he could have a great legacy as an African. In one post, Nameless said he has realized that it is not about the gender of a child but about how the parent brings the child up by molding  the character that matters. A fan identified as Daphine member commented; "Tafuta Kijana boss. Your legacy, we are Africans." The eldest of three siblings, Rishi Sunak was born on May 12, 1980, in Southampton to Yashvir and Usha Sunak, Hindu parents of Punjabi Indian origin who were born in Africa. His father was born and raised in the British Protectorate of Kenya (present-day Kenya), while his mother was born in Tanganyika (which is present-day part of Tanzania). His grandparents were born in Punjab province, British India, and migrated from East Africa with their families to the UK in the 1960s. Sunak went to Winchester College, a boys' independent boarding school, where he was head boy, and Stroud School, a prep school in Romsey, Hampshire. Tournament hosts, Kisumu RFC, sailed through to the last eight with a resounding victory over Siaya RFC at the Kisumu Poly Grounds. Lawrence Buyachi's side were too good for their opponents as they thumped them by 60points to nothing. They are joined by former Kenya Cup side, Western Bulls who overpowered Bungoma RFC 44-9 at the Bullring in Kakamega. This came after Vihiga Granite did battle with Mbale at the same venue. Mbale got the better of their counterparts to register a 31-15 win on the day. Kitale fell to Eldoret in a tightly contested match that ended in a 16-15 final scoreline at the Eldoret Sports Club. Kisumu, Bulls and Mbale join Kenya Cup sides MMUST and Kabras who had prequalified for the Quarter Finals.

Gachagua: We Are Ready To Work With Him, But We Don't Understand Him

  President William Ruto, Dp Rigathi Gachagua and CS Nominee Alfred Mutua  When asked about Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka joining President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza coalition, Deputy President responded that he is welcome but difficult to work with. On Sunday, when in Kitui for a ceremony of thanksgiving, DP Gachagua stated that they had attempted to persuade Kalonzo to leave the opposition but had been unsuccessful since he had been irresponsive to their requests. The DP was responding to Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti's request for President William Ruto to include Kalonzo in his administration and give him a position. Gachagua went on to describe the running-mate interviews for Azimio la Umoja that were conducted in May 2022, asserting that Kalonzo was humiliated but still chose to support Azimio. Drama at Bramall Lane

There was plenty of drama in an English Championship game between Blackpool and Sheffield United that ended in a 3-3 stalemate. The contest featured a 98th-minute equalizer, a late missed penalty, four red cards, and a fight that broke out after the game's time limit had expired. The game was played at Sheffield United's stadium, Bramall Lane. The goals by James McAtee (8') and Iliman Ndiaye (23') gave the hosts a quick 2-0 lead. The hosts entered the day as the top team in the standings. Jerry Yates of Blackpool gave his side a fighting chance by scoring two goals before the 45th minute. With only six minutes played in the second half, Kenny Dougall handed the visitors a 3-2 advantage.
