Morocco have set the record for the longest African unbeaten run at the FIFA World Cup with no losses in 6 games having concededonly one goal throughoutthe tournamentup until the semifinals.

Moroccan clubs, Wydad Casablanca won the CAF Champions League, RS Berkane won the CAF Confederation Cup & CAF Super Cup and Morocco reached the WAFCON final while AS FAR won CAF Women's Champions League

Morocco's Coach, Walid Regragui has become the first African Manager to reach the Quarter Finals at the FIFA World Cup. He won the CAF Champions League and Botola Pro with Wydad Casablanca in May and June. He was hired in August 2022.
