The KRU Championship Match Day 1 Report


Impala's transition to the second tier got off to a bad start when they were defeated by Zetech Oaks in their KRU Championship match day 1 contest at the Impala Club on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

On the other hand, Nondescripts, a multiple Kenya Cup champion, had little issues defeating Daystar Falcons 46-13 at home with brutal efficiency.

In Ukunda, the South Coast Pirates defeated the USIU Martials 32-24 after a high-scoring match, while Kisumu defeated Shamas 15-11 at the RFUEA Ground.

Western Bulls and University of Eldoret Trojans played out a 13-13 stalemate in Kakamega, and Eldoret lost at home against Kabarak University, 6-16.
