Fleet of Electric Buses Dock at Mombasa Port

A fleet of fifteen electric buses have arrived at the Port of Mombasa aboard MV Morning Christina 

This is the largest consignment of electric buses to the region as Kenya is looking to transition to clean energy.

The buses were shipped by BYD Automotive; the largest manufacturer of electric vehicles in the world following a successful trial of two pilot buses which are currently operational in Nrb.
Morning Christina is among 39 vessels expected at the port of Mombasa in the next two weeks.
The buses belong to Basi-Go, @BasiGoKenya a Kenyan e-mobility startup providing electric bus solutions to PSV owners.
