Victoria Cup Quarterfinal Pairing and Venues


After the pre-quarterfinal matches were finished this past weekend, the quarterfinal pairings and times for the preseason Victoria 15s were determined.

In the first match of a doubleheader at the Kisumu Polytechnic, hosts Kisumu will face Kisii, clearing the way for Kabras Sugar, the current Kenya Cup champions, and Mbale to square off.

Kisumu defeated Siaya 69-0 to advance to the quarterfinals, while Kisii gained a bye into the last eight. Mbale defeated county rivals Vihiga Granites 31-15, Kabras Sugar also received a bye.

BEDDING

At the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in Kakamega, MMUST will play Eldoret in the other match of the day.

Masinde Muliro received a bye into the quarterfinals, and last weekend at the Eldoret Sports Club, Eldoret defeated Kitale 16-15.

Western Bull's Erastus Wanyama

Following University of Eldoret's withdrawal from the competition, Western Bulls, who defeated Bungoma 44-9 in the pre-quarterfinal, advanced to the semifinals.
