Following last-minute negotiations, World Cup organizers in Qatar have prohibited the selling of alcohol near stadiums, FIFA reported on Friday. FIFA and Qatari organizers were involved in late negotiations over whether beer will be offered at the stadiums during the tournament, which starts on Sunday.
